One World Media Awards

Arab journalists who have covered political, social or cultural topics in developing countries can submit their entries for the One World Media awards before 3 March. Although the contest is for media in the UK, two categories are open to international media.

The Special Award for Development Media will recognize an outstanding overseas community media project or organization that has made a unique contribution to the communication of sustainable development or human rights. Nominations from individuals and organizations are welcomed.

The International Premiere Award will be for a TV production shown in a festival or on any broadcast network outside of the UK. It will recognize the highest standard of international documentary on development and human rights. Entries must not be more than two years old (completion or first broadcast).

Deadline for both categories is 3 March. The International Premiere Award has entries fees of 88 English pounds.
