Emirates Today’s Editor Leaves the Paper

Jason Leavy, the launch editor of Emirates Today in Dubai, will leave the daily tabloid in 1 April and return to London where he will continue to work as consultant for the newspaper’s mother company, Arab Media Group (AMG), CampaignME reported.

Although Leavy gave personal reasons for the departure – he got married in December and his wife is in
UK - CampaignME said his decision could be grounded on interference in editorial by the groups’s CEO, Abdullatif Al Sayegh.
