Excellence in Newspaper Marketing Awards

The International Newspaper Marketing Association (INMA) has announced its 2006 awards in excellence in newspaper marketing. These awards are open to newspapers throughout the world. The entry forms are currently available online.

The INMA Newspaper Marketing Awards are divided into two broad genres, "Use of a Medium In Marketing Newspapers", rewarding creative use of various marketing media, and "Customers and Audiences", rewarding the overall effectiveness of multi-media campaigns. Each of the two genres is divided in ten different categories. Applicants can compete in three different groups depending on the newspaper circulation: less than 75,000 copies, between 75,000 and 300,000, and over 300,000.

Although translators will be on hand at the judging for non-English entries, a summary translation by the entrant will be helpful. A non-refundable fee of 55 US$ per entry is charged.

Founded in 1930, INMA is a non-profit organization with more than 8,000 members and subscribers in 125 countries worldwide. Its mission is to promote advanced marketing principles within the newspaper industry.

Deadline: 24 January 2006
